The Stroopwafel is made with a layer of delicious syrup between two thin wafers, and is individually packaged to make it portable and easy to take on a ride or run.

I had this before a run. It was yummy, and didn't cause me any GI issues later. Great flavour. And nice texture, if you're looking for something that's not a gel.
