    GU Gels pack calories in to a portable form to help sustain energy demands of daily training sessions and competition. 

    The gels contain carbohydrates (maltodextrin and fructose) to help maximize absorption and utilization while diminishing stomach distress.

    Sodium, the primary electrolyte lost in sweat, aids in hydration by maintaining water balance. The branched-chain amino acids (leucine, valine, isoleucine) may reduce mental fatigue and decrease muscle damage.

    Each gel contains between 20mg - 40mg of added caffeine.

    Lemon Sublime, Strawberry Banana, Gingerade, Birthday Cake, Toasted Marshmallow and Campfire S'mores are caffeine free.

    All GU Energy Gels are vegan, gluten free, and kosher.

    Super sweet

    I don’t know what I was expecting, but as whit was my first time using a gel product it was far

    Sweeter than I imagined. I might not be the best person to give advice on the tast as it was far to sweet for me, but I also do not eat a lot of

    Sweet refined sugar products. As far as the effects it did help me on my long run and I was able to push through farther i just found I needed more water to wash the sweetness down.
